Non-paid internship

Are you looking to intern for a meaningful organization working with kids?
We bring the art of filmmaking to kids in local children’s hospitals who are faced with serious medical challenges and provide them with an outlet for creative self-expression, a means to learn new skills, and a venue through which they can share their personal stories with others.

Skilled video editors and / or production minded individuals should have compassion and the ability to work with a wide variety of footage in terms of film quality and content: some footage will have children coping with very advanced stages of diseases and complex medical conditions.
An editors’ purpose is to enhance a child’s efforts and help communicate their vision to their family and then to a larger audience. Intern editors are asked to be very creative while honoring the child’s intentions.

This is not an internship where you will work for another editor as an assistant. You will be the Editor and / or Cinematographer on several projects over the course of your internship.
