Work from Home/Office at Pier 27
Non-Paid Position

We are looking for an intern to work with us on an exciting feature length documentary film about a re-socialization program in San Quentin Prison. Our film is sponsored by The San Francisco Film Society, is connected with The Doc Film Institute of San Francisco and has received overwhelming support from non-profit agencies throughout the bay area.

We are looking for an intern to work with us primarily in development/fundraising. Primary task would include research new funding opportunities, updating the funding calendar, completing office duties and preparing for upcoming events by completing marketing and outreach materials. For the right candidate there may also be an opportunity to work with the post-production process. This is an opportunity to learn first hand about a grass-roots project by spending a large amount of time with the filmmakers themselves.

We do have available office space in San Francisco and would need an intern who would be willing to come to the office to complete select tasks, although work from home will also be possible.

Ideal candidates posses exemplary internet research skills, writing skills, and organization. Interns must also be Mac literate, detail oriented, and able to multi-task. Interns must be courteous, professional and reliable and should have experience in online research. Working knowledge of film/video is beneficial, including editing experience.
