A production position; not a “creative.”

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with QA, CS, and Tech Support to get catalog PC gold masters ready for delivery to 3rd party publishers. OEM projects – working with QA, CS, and Tech Support to get catalog PC gold masters ready for internal groups such as BVHE.
• Routing Marketing Materials (various projects) – receiving packaging, manuals, and other marketing materials and route internally to appropriate people. Compile feedback to send to publisher.
• VO Recordings (various projects) – Attend voice over recording sessions and notes changes to script, takes and alternates
• Misc (various projects) – review and provide feedback on design documents as well as feedback on play testing; burn GBA and DS builds onto a cart for review, sit in on conference calls and take notes. Updating hardware for 360, Wii and other consoles with the latest software.
• Track all deliverable submissions and route to the appropriate people
• Perform any additional tasks as needed
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent / Must have graduated within the past year

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Exhibit good interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
• Possess organizational and problem solving skills
• Detail-oriented
• Familiar with Excel (Power Point and Photoshop knowledge a plus)
• Friendly and outgoing
• Have a willingness to learn

Computer Games Division of a Major Studio Seeks interns

Beginning late June 08, the Computer Games Division of a Major Media Conglomerate will be hiring three to five interns for a six month full time paid internship ($16 / hr.).  Interns will team up on a team project.  Management skills are a plus for the project management internship.  Applicant must be a recent graduate OR to graduate in the following year.  Almost half of the applicants accepted to this internship program are hired as career employees of the company.   Contact Southern California Executive Director as soon as possible if interested.

Greenhouse Gas Inventory Intern

Internship description

CBS Corporation (CBS) seeks individuals with a strong interest in climate change issues and environmental management to assist with the process of calculating and reporting its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory for all of its operations in California. CBS has voluntarily agreed to report and certify its GHG emissions annually with the California Climate Action Registry (Registry). The successful candidate will be instrumental in helping CBS reach its goal of completing an entity-wide GHG emissions inventory that will be certified by a third-party and publicly reported.

Positions are available in Studio City, CA

This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the growing field of environmental management and work on climate change, one of the most important environmental issues of this century.

Major responsibilities
• Coordinate with various departments to collect data necessary to track GHG emissions.

• Design management systems to track data required for the inventory.

• Aggregate data and calculate annual GHG emissions using the Registry’s General Reporting Protocol.

• Conduct specific technical research/analyses as directed.

• Create GHG emissions report utilizing the Registry’s online reporting tool.

• Assist in analysis of environmental compliance and energy conservation.

• Research other climate change science and policy topics as directed.
Qualifications
• Undergraduate juniors or seniors

• Demonstrated interest in climate change issues/environmental management.

• Proficient in EXCEL

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
